Commercial Pool Repair FAQs
Does a pool repair company need a contractor's license in Nevada?
Yes for most commercial work. The Nevada State Contractors Board requires a licensed contractor for pool and spa repair above $1,000 in labor and materials. Gator Pools holds NSCB license #0052693 (A-10E, Maintenance and Repair of Pools and Spas).
Our HOA pool turned green. How fast can you fix it?
Same-day response across the Las Vegas valley, seven days a week. A green commercial pool is usually back within SNHD chemistry limits in 24 to 48 hours depending on filtration and starting condition.
Do you give a written proposal before repairs?
Always. Nothing outside the maintenance agreement is done without a written proposal to the manager or board. Emergency items are marked as such.
Do you require a deposit for large repairs?
A 50 percent deposit is required on repair and equipment jobs over $20,000. Smaller repairs are billed on completion.
Can you correct equipment that was installed incorrectly?
Yes. Equipment audits on new accounts commonly find undersized pumps, mismatched filters, or heater installations that do not meet code. We document the issue, propose the correction in writing, and bring the installation to code.
