Health Inspection Prep & Spring Opening detailsCommercial pools need pump motors, heaters, filters, feeders, and drain covers replaced on a schedule. Every one of those jobs exceeds the Nevada handyman limit. When an unlicensed company performs that work, the association or owner carries the liability for it.

Gator Pools maintains and repairs HOA and community association pools across Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, and Pahrump. We respond to board RFPs with winter and summer monthly pricing, deliver the license, insurance, W-9, and reference packet managers need, keep SNHD logs, attend the annual inspection, and send a monthly report formatted for the board packet.

Gator Pools services apartment and multifamily pools and spas across Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas, including properties with multiple pools and regional management portfolios. Apartment pools take heavy summer bather load, so service runs 3 or more visits per week in season, chemistry is kept inside SNHD limits, and equipment failures get same-day response so the amenity stays open for residents.

Gator Pools provides early-morning maintenance, repair, and heater and chiller service for hotel, resort, and casino pools in Las Vegas and Paradise. Service is scheduled before guest hours with uniformed technicians and rapid response to anything that affects the guest experience or an SNHD inspection.

Gator Pools maintains and repairs pools for public agencies, parks and recreation departments, school districts, and municipalities in Clark and Nye County. We respond to public solicitations, carry the licensing and insurance public contracts require, and understand the documentation standards public aquatic facilities operate under.

Gator Pools works with community and property management companies across Las Vegas as the pool maintenance and repair vendor for their HOA, condo, and apartment portfolios. Managers get a complete vendor packet on request (NSCB license, certificate of insurance, W-9, references), proposals returned within days of a site visit, one point of contact across every property, and monthly reports their boards can read.

Gator Pools maintains and repairs indoor and outdoor pools at fitness clubs, swim schools, universities, private schools, and therapy clinics across Las Vegas, on schedules built around member and class hours.

Chemistry logged, equipment checked, safety items verified, the way SNHD inspectors expect. We attend the annual inspection.
Nothing outside the contract happens without a written proposal. Emergencies are flagged and handled same day.
Monthly summary with readings, repairs done, repairs recommended, and equipment condition, formatted for the board packet.
Boards that approve equipment work and draining in the fall open on time and pass inspection, ahead of the spring demand for parts and crews. We audit the pool against the SNHD checklist, send a written repair list, and schedule the work for the off-season.
Off-season checklist and inspection prep
Yes for most commercial work. The Nevada State Contractors Board requires a licensed contractor for pool and spa repair or installation over $1,000 in combined labor and materials. Routine cleaning does not require a license, but the equipment repairs every commercial pool eventually needs do. Gator Pools holds NSCB license #0052693, classification A-10E, Maintenance and Repair of Pools and Spas.
Two visits per week in winter (November 1 to March 31) and three per week in summer (April 1 to October 31) is the standard scope in Southern Nevada HOA RFPs. High-use apartment and resort pools often go daily in summer.
It depends on the number of pools and spas, visit frequency, and whether chemicals are included. A single HOA pool with a spa on the standard winter and summer schedule typically falls in the high hundreds to low thousands per month. Gator Pools quotes after a site visit and breaks out winter and summer pricing the way RFPs ask.
The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) inspects public and semi-public pools in Clark County, including HOA, apartment, hotel, school, and municipal pools. Inspections can be unannounced and a pool can be closed on the spot.
A licensed contractor, venting and clearances per code and manufacturer, gas piping to code, bonding, and automatic shutoff and safety devices. Fire departments and insurance carriers often inspect commercial heater installs. Gator Pools handles the install and the inspection coordination.
Start in October: audit against the SNHD checklist, approve repairs, pull permits, drain and refill in winter, replace drain covers, fix equipment, correct gates and signage, and have logs in the pump room by March. See the Health Inspection Prep page.
